Although his pet mom runs a tight ship, we all know it's really the pets who are in charge. Throughout the year we'll bring you Crew Member Bios so you can learn more about the people who care for your pets. We'll also share seasonal pet tips, guest columns from various experts, and Barque & Mew News. Now without ado, meet the first member of our crew.

Name: Captain "Scull" Scullybones

Hometown: Unknown. I was adopted from Worthy Dog Rescue here in Virginia.

Favorite Food: Cast-off waffle fries, cheese, and kale.

Preferred Pastime: Snuggling on the couch during rainstorms while listening to jazz. I'm a simple hound.

Motto: If the wind will not serve, take to the oars. It's a Latin Proverb. I like it because, obviously, it's about sculling.
