About Us!

Before Barque & Mew, our crew was on a global voyage safeguarding America (literally working with McGruff the Crime Dog), advocating for animals, researching and exploring the oceans. The one thing that grounded us – pets! Because we’ve worked in pet services and been petcare clients, we use our experiences from both worlds. Barque & Mew was developed by a disruptor who saw significant gaps in security, caretaker ambivalence, and in general, a turn-style of people who merely wanted quick money. In other words – an unregulated industry with a lot of questionable characters. The main tenet of Barque & Mew? If they wouldn’t let a pet caretaker into their home, they certainly wouldn’t let them into yours.
Our amassed skill sets, including C-suite level work, offers accountability, efficiency, safety, sustainability practices, and economical focus. We are proud to support local animal rescues and veteran-related initiatives. Take a journey with our Crew Members and witness smoother seas!

Proudly employing Veterans & Military Spouses!
Barque & Mew
was created to
offer a tailored,
boutique pet service that focuses on safety and client needs. We provide an alternative to mega pet services that use a multitude of employees that wade in and out of your community.
We have an advisory crew with
combined caretaking, business,
and security backgrounds who believe
multiple unknown caregivers create
community security gaps, whereas one accountable
pet service enhances safety.
